Reporting a wrong answer
This is the message we most want to receive. Please include the URL of the riddle and a line on what is wrong - the answer itself, the explanation, the difficulty rating, or a second answer that works just as well. We check reports against the original riddle and fix confirmed errors, usually within the week.
Suggesting a riddle
Send the riddle, the answer, and - if you can - a sentence explaining why that is the answer. Tell us whether it is your own or one you heard, so we can credit or verify it properly. We check every submission against the existing collection first, since a surprising number of "new" riddles turn out to be one we already have in different words.
Using our riddles in a classroom or event
Teachers, librarians, camp leaders and quiz hosts are welcome to use our riddles in lessons, worksheets, assemblies and events at no cost and without asking. If you want to reproduce a large set in something you are publishing or selling, email us first - see the Terms of Use for where the line sits.
Copyright
Most of our riddles are traditional and have no identifiable author. If you hold rights to something published here, send us the URL and a description of the material and we will review it and, where appropriate, remove it promptly.
Privacy requests
To have a leaderboard nickname or a contact message deleted, email us from the address you used, or describe the entry. Details of what we store are in our Privacy Policy.
Advertising and partnerships
For advertising, sponsorship or content partnership enquiries, email us with "Advertising" in the subject line.
Elsewhere
We also post riddles on Facebook and Pinterest.
We aim to reply within a few working days. We cannot answer requests to solve a riddle that is not on the site - but if you send it, we may well add it.
